black cat co. is the independent studio of jack nelson, a traveling filmmaker, designer, and creative director based in orlando, florida. with a bfa in graphic design from the university of florida, he brings a designer’s eye to cinematic, story-driven work for brands, athletes, and businesses.

his work has taken him from serving as lead director on noah lyles’ long-form documentary series the unseen journey and producing content for kenny bednarek to shaping marketing, campaigns, and brand systems across dealer general. jack moves fluidly between strategy, direction, production, editing, photography, and design, carrying ideas from their first spark through final delivery without losing the larger vision.
